Planning Applications
The Parish Council is a Statutory Consultee for all planning applications within the parish. It makes representations to East Devon District Council, the principal authority responsible for making planning decisions across the whole of the district. Planning Applications are considered at Parish Council Meetings where observations, comments and responses are agreed for submitting as part of the planning process. It is sometimes necessary to hold a dedicated Planning Meeting in order to meet consultation deadlines. Lists and links to planning applications are included in the agendas for meetings. Members of the public can attend meetings to share their views on applications to influence the Parish Council’s comments. Please bear in mind that the Parish Council are only consultees, the final decision will be made by the planning authority. Members of the public can also independently comment in support or to object to any planning application via the East Devon District Council Planning Portal.
