The Questionnaire
Before any proposals were made in the Neighbourhood Plan, the Parish Council wanted to find out what the local community thought about its Parish. To do this we wanted to hear from as wide a range of local people as possible - residents, businesses, shoppers, young people older people, community groups, service providers and other stakeholders. Proof of public participation is vital for a viable Neighbourhood Plan.
A Questionnaire was sent to all 498 homes in the Parish via the September 2015 issue of the Parish Magazine, with a closing date of end October 2015.

A 59% response rate was received and the results were collated and analysed.
Parishioners were invited to attend one of the two presentations in the Village Hall on Wednesday 13th and Saturday 16th January, when the full results from the Questionnaire were presented. About 130 people attended the two events and the lively participation in the open discussion provided valuable feed back for the Neighbourhood Plan Working Party.
